CREATING YOUR PRODUCT FROM SCRATCH

OK, let’s do something fun this week.  Why not pretend to create
your product using PLR product?

Now follow me if you will.

We’re going to create a product around Article Marketing.  Article
Marketing is really popular and I am sure you’ll sell a few.

So here it goes.

I am going to mention some links here and please note none of these

1. FINDING QUALITY PRODUCT

First and most, you have to know where to obtain quality PLR products.

I recommend two sources for this.

1. Warrior Forum WSO section.
2. MRR and PLR stores online.

Take a look at the following two URLs.

You can do several things from these two products.  You can combine
them, break them apart, mix them to create quality video product.

Now the reason why I am using a video product is in the beginning, video
product exhibits higher perceived value.

Since this can be your first product online, it’s a good strategy to push
for video content in order for others to perceive its value rather easliy.

2. PUTTING YOUR TWIST INTO THE PRODUCT
======================================

I would add such things as worksheet, interviews, reference guide if you
want to enhance the product.

But what I think most important process for all this is adding a completely
new look (design) to your brand new product.

I would use sources like the following (Not my affiliate links).

As you can see, you’ll be able to find designers who do the work for you.

3. CHANGING TITLES, SALES COPY, ADDING A FEW TESTIMONIALS

Now you would go back to the Warrior forum and ask others see if they’d
like to review your product and if it warrants, you receive testimonials
for exchange.

If you’d like, you can even pay some respected member for their time for
reviewing the product.  Tell them they will NOT be obligated to give you
testimonial for their time.  But if your product deserves one, they’ll give
you time to review it because you paid for their time.

4. ADDING PAYMENT PROCESSOR

Optionally, add some type of OTO and build your site ready to take payment.

You can use $7 Secret script if you’re on low budget.

5. FINDING SOMEONE TO PROMOTE IT FOR YOU
========================================

Now you can go seek list owners who like blasting their emails with
promos every week.

Then ask him if you can pay $100 for promoting your new product
to his list, and add HIS affiliate link to the OTO page you created.

This way, he gets his money upfront no matter if you make sales or not.  But
in addition, he also gets his share of OTO commissions.

You see, these owners are always on the lookout for next product to promote to
their lists.  That’s how they make a living. You can approach them with good
proposals that they can’t refuse and you’ll create a win-win situation for you.

2. Sumo Paint is the second one I think you’re going to like.

Take a look at this tool – this pretty much allows you to have
Photoshop experience online.

3. Hire a graphic designer for your new product.

4. Sell it online, advertising your brand new product that explains
how to use Sumo Paint.

– Now you have your own product to sell, if it’s a video product,
you can rightfully charge good price.

People are always on the look out for alternatives for expensive
softwares.  If you position yourself as someone who can teach
alternative “secrets” to this market, you’ll have another business
model.

MY HONEST TRUTH COMES OUT

If you’re like me, you probably feel the same way.  All these tools
are great and they certainly provide alternative solutions to EXISITING
challenges.

But if you haven’t used graphic tools in the past, chances are,
just because I am introducing you to a new set of tools today, even
if they’re provided free to you, you still wouldn’t use them.

Right?

You’ll probably read about it, don’t do anything and put it off.

I think that’s totally fine.

But if you leave it undone, things will never get completed.

So if you DON’T like creating graphics (even with the help of free
tools), then start networking with those who have good reputation.

This is when I go visit Warrior Forum

By visiting Warrior Forum, you can’t help but to notice players in
each area of product creation.  Some people are known as graphic
gurus, others are video guy/girl etc.

Make daily or weekly visits with them, get to know them while
growing your Skype list.

When you have a project and you don’t feel like doing any of its work,
you can outsource to the trusted source, instead of going with
someone you met through Elance.

Elance is good, but that’s my last option.

– Marketing is not always about what you know, but who you know.

I was looking for a product to upload this week and ended up coming
across something different.

It’s not a free product, but very quality and cheap ($4.95) tutorial
video teaching how to convert PLR to add completely different look.

With this instruction, you’ll be able to easily create a product of
your own, having different look, graphic, and content.

Why don’t you come up a product of your own, then give it away during
an giveaway?  You can add hundreds of subscribers if you have quality
product.

MORE GIVEAWAY EVENT TIP
=======================

Last year when I first came across these Giveaway events, I was adding
upwards of 70 subscribers a day.

For some marketers, 70 additional subscribers could mean $70 more
residual income every month.  If you haven’t participated in any
event before, you owe it to yourself to become a contributor.

It used to be that a Giveaway required you to have list before you
could join as a contributor — if you didn’t promote to your list,
you weren’t welcomed.

Not so in today’s trend.

What happens today is when you sign up as a contributor, you’re usually
upsold to become a preferred contributor.  Once you pay whatever the
OTO amount (usually like $17), your contributed gift will remain as
a “featured gift”.

The $17 is split between the Giveaway host and the referrer who signed
you up.  But even though you might have “zero” members to promote to
your list, because you’re now an “upgraded” member, your gift will
remain seen (if you’re free member and don’t promote, your gift will
be deleted – this prevents people coming in for a free ride).

USING ELANCE FOR QUICK TURN AROUND

Here is my version of the “quickest way” to succeed with JV giveaway.

1. Go to Elance and ask for someone to come up with original graphics
that you’re going to use as your legit product for a giveaway event.
($50)

2. Go to Digital Point Forum’s marketplace and find a graphic designer
who can come up with original eCover designed for your gift.
($15)

3. You set up your gift with auto responder, lead capture page, domain
and paid hosting.
($9 one time fee for domain and $7-$10 monthly fee for hosting)

4. You collect subscribers using paid auto responder.
($20 monthly)

Rinse and repeat above.

You see, doing these simple tasks and participating in several
giveaways between now and end of the year, you’ll add additional
500 subscribers to your list.

Depending on how you work your list, that can lead you to gain
additional $500 income for you.

TIP OF THE WEEK: WHERE TO GET QUALITY RAW MATERIALS
===================================================

In the past, I have “confessed” that I use these two websites to
find good (and cheap) PLR materials.

link 2 >> www.bestchoiceforebooks.com (less, but way cheaper)

What I do is, I first visit link 1 and browse what I want. Then I
visit link 2 to find the same material, but at a bargain price.

If I cannot find the same product at link 2, then I’ll go back to
link 1 to buy what I want.

1. I then go through a product to see if that’s something I want to
put my name to it.

2. If it’s a video product, I really won’t touch anything.  If it’s
an ebook, I’ll rewrite and add my own thoughts.

3. I hire graphic designer to either just come up with eCover or
whole mini-site.  They average anywhere from $10 to $50 for me.

4. I either giveaway to build a list or sell it online.

ADD YOUR LICENSE, GENERATE VIRAL TRAFFIC

In the last few broadcasts, you probably noticed that I have always
included PLR or MRR materials.

This week, I decided to create a nice set of templates that you can
customize and easily add your information to create own license.

So for example, let’s say a PLR product said you could do anything
you wanted with that product, then instead of leaving the previous
owner’s license within the package, you’d insert your version of
license when redistributing them.

(Now if what I said above confused you, just download the package
through the download link below and see inside – it should make
better sense to you).

After downloading,

1.  First you’ll see a folder that says “Your Templates”.  These are
the brandable files that all you have to do is convert the word to
PDF after adding your unique content.

2. Second, if you need an example of how this could be done, just
open up the file that says “My Example”.  You’ll see exactly what I
do to add my information.

As these licenses get passed around, a little by little, you’ll
gain greater viral traffic and subscribers to your list.

POP OVER FORM CONVERTING OPT-INS AT 38.8%
=========================================

About a month ago or so, I decided to add Aweber “Pop Over”
forms across many of my websites.

Prior to this, I have heard that this method would
increase subscribers, and I decided to give a try.

While regular “inline” forms are currently converting at 30.1%
on average, my “Pop-Over” forms are converting at 38.8%.

I know many marketers argue that this can annoy visitors.

But that opinion can also be their personal perspectives towards
such methods and not necessarily based on what has been tested.

So I wanted to test this method myself and I’m going to be sticking
with it – it works for me.

(notice this is a “pop-over” and not a “pop-up”, slightly different
tactic, here)

This week I unsubscribed from five more lists.

I was on some of these lists for a few years and was afraid to make
the change, but now I realized nothing has changed in my life -
Nothing.

GOOD PRODUCT WORTH LOOKING AT

This week I came across a product that really got my attention.

I don’t know if you know who Carl Ocab is but Carl is 15 year old
kid who has over 10000 subscribers to his “Make Money Online” blog.

Carl attests that his secret to success is ranking high with
key phrase “Make Money Online” using search engines and he does this with
WordPress and SEO.

He tested it, tweaked it and played with his WordPress template and
in the course of time, the template became fully optimized with SEO
in mind — interesting.

Now what Carl has done is he decided to sell the same exact template
that he uses to rank his own website for some of Google’s most
coveted key phrases.

TIP OF THE WEEK: WITH ANIMOTO, ANYONE CAN MAKE AWESOME FLASHY VIDEOS

As marketers, people take their knowledge for granted and assume
everyone else ALREADY know what they know. I don’t know about you,
but I make these types of assumptions all the time.

A few people asked me how I made my videos on YouTube but it never occurred to me
that this could be helpful information for some people.

Well, it was very simple.

With Animoto, you can turn 15 slides into 30 second video like the one
I made above.

All you have to do is use Screen Capture utility that you can download
online or simply use “Print Screen” function on your keyboard and submit
15 slides in order to create one video.

Animoto offers paid and free version but for now, I only use the free
version for most of my projects (free videos limit to 30 seconds max
length)

TIP OF THE WEEK

Do you ever feel like you don’t know what to do with all these
PLR in your hard drive?

I’ll give you a useful tip here.  This will work wonders for giving
information especially to the newbie market. People will think you’re
an expert.

1. Download the Word file

2. Look through them and see if anything will interest
you.

3. Once you find it, set up “Self made Q&A” to giveaway as PDF report.

…

Here is an example.  I build my own Q&A “interviews” using
PLR articles.

So let’s say if a paragraph in your PLR article said something like,

Then use the answer above as yours. Compile them in PDF, give
them away or edit the text and make it more natural for audio
recording so you can do a live interview with someone else asking
you pre-defined questions you just answering back.

If you added appropriate graphics, pictures to better build your
case, it’ll look like a nice report.
