How to Activate Hyperlinks in PDF When Converting from Word, Explained Step by Step.

How to Activate Hyperlinks In PDF Free When Converting from Word [Download PDF Version]

This tutorial shows exactly what you need to do to activate Word doc hyperlinks when converting to PDF.

My traffic report displays that many people are STILL searching solution for this. So let’s solve this right now.

1. Choosing Open Office

If you don’t know what Open Office is, it’s a free resource that allows you to have Microsoft Office like software in your computer. Don’t worry, there s no advertisement or spyware associated with this program. Let’s first download this software right on your desktop.

Visit OpenOffice.org Upon arriving, you should proceed to download the Open Office.

2. Downloading and Installing Open Office

After saving the file to your computer, go ahead and install the Open Office. I trust you have at least this level of computer proficiency without me having to explaining step by step how to download and install this program on your computer all by yourself.

3. Open “Writer”

Within Open Office, there are Base, Calc, Draw, Impress, Math and Writer. All of these tools do work equivalent of Microsoft Office programs. For example, Writer works like the MS Word.

Once you have opened Writer, go to the upper left corner and pull down FILE then to OPEN. So do this FILE > OPEN.

Now, using OPEN, import Word doc (whatever doc file you want to convert to PDF) into the Writer.

Once the file appears within Writer, then go back to FILE then EXPORT AS PDF.

After saving your new doc as PDF, all the hyper links within the PDF should now be activated.

Pretty easy?

Another way to do this is by using eWriterPro software which comes with the purchase of my special report Mini Report Creation Guide. This report deals bit more in depth and takes you one step above so that you could build a website to sell your ebooks online.

If you’ve never published an ebook before, check out the site and see if you’ve covered everything you needed to know about writing a PDF then uploading and hosting through a website.

ACTION TAKERS NEWSLETTER BROADCAST Jan 04, 2009

Hello it’s Tak Hikichi here. I appreciate you taking busy time
reading this newsletter this week.

=====================================
CREATING YOUR PRODUCT FROM SCRATCH
=====================================

OK, let’s do something fun this week. Why not pretend to create
your product using PLR product?

Now follow me if you will.

We’re going to create a product around Article Marketing. Article
Marketing is really popular and I am sure you’ll sell a few.

So here it goes.

I am going to mention some links here and please note none of these
URL contain my affiliate links.

==========================
1. FINDING QUALITY PRODUCT
==========================

First and most, you have to know where to obtain quality PLR products.

I recommend two sources for this.

1. Warrior Forum WSO section.
2. MRR and PLR stores online.

Take a look at the following two URLs.

1st link by a Warrior at WSO. (Not my affiliate link)
>> http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-special-offers-forum/28844-brand-new-internet-marketing-private-label-rights-video-series-article-marketing-explosion-includes-book.html

2nd link to a MRR/PLR store online. (Not my affiliate link)
>> http://master-resale-rights.com/products/Article_Marketing_for_Newbies_PLR-1995-130.html

You can do several things from these two products. You can combine
them, break them apart, mix them to create quality video product.

Now the reason why I am using a video product is in the beginning, video
product exhibits higher perceived value.

Since this can be your first product online, it’s a good strategy to push
for video content in order for others to perceive its value rather easliy.

======================================
2. PUTTING YOUR TWIST INTO THE PRODUCT
======================================

I would add such things as worksheet, interviews, reference guide if you
want to enhance the product.

But what I think most important process for all this is adding a completely
new look (design) to your brand new product.

I would use sources like the following (Not my affiliate links).

1. http://www.pixelofgenius.com/

2. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=104

As you can see, you’ll be able to find designers who do the work for you.

=========================================================
3. CHANGING TITLES, SALES COPY, ADDING A FEW TESTIMONIALS
=========================================================

Now you would go back to the Warrior forum and ask others see if they’d
like to review your product and if it warrants, you receive testimonials
for exchange.

If you’d like, you can even pay some respected member for their time for
reviewing the product. Tell them they will NOT be obligated to give you
testimonial for their time. But if your product deserves one, they’ll give
you time to review it because you paid for their time.

============================
4. ADDING PAYMENT PROCESSOR
============================

Optionally, add some type of OTO and build your site ready to take payment.

You can use $7 Secret script if you’re on low budget.

========================================
5. FINDING SOMEONE TO PROMOTE IT FOR YOU
========================================

Now you can go seek list owners who like blasting their emails with
promos every week.

Then ask him if you can pay $100 for promoting your new product
to his list, and add HIS affiliate link to the OTO page you created.

This way, he gets his money upfront no matter if you make sales or not. But
in addition, he also gets his share of OTO commissions.

–

You see, these owners are always on the lookout for next product to promote to
their lists. That’s how they make a living. You can approach them with good
proposals that they can’t refuse and you’ll create a win-win situation for you.

=================
SEE YOU NEXT WEEK
=================

I added more subscribers through Giveaway event this week so some of you are new.
But each week, I publish newsletters, discussing the latest strategy, trend,
and industry news.

If you have any questions, please respond by replying to this emails, and I might use your scenario as part of the newsletter content.

Thank you and a Happy New Year!

Hello it’s Tak Hikichi here. I appreciate you taking busy time
reading this newsletter this week.

========================
NEW PLR DOWNLOAD LINK
========================

This week, I am providing a download link for PLR called, “List
Building for Newbies”, (Short report) produced by Adeel Chowdhry.

I uploaded this product not necessarily for the content, but for the
overall strategy that the product creator proposes.

There is something remarkable taking place here. Take a look at
his business model.

- Adeel’s Business Model -

1. He obtains a PLR that has giveaway rights.

2. Creates brand new set of graphics for the product.

3. Writes up a sales letter to include or to actually use.

4. Give it away to his list or new subscribers.

Imagine repeating this a few times a year using JV Giveaway events.
Each yielding a few hundreds subscribers when you give away…

This “one time” effort can yield residual income stream.

Well, here is the download link – this has no restriction, do what
you want with it. Be creative.

>> SUBSCRIBER ONLY LINK

===================================
USING OPEN SOURCE TO YOUR ADVANTAGE
===================================

If you heard of Open Source movement, you know what I am referring
to. Things like WordPress, PDF converter by OpenOffice org etc.

I wanted to tell you about two exciting tools (no cost) for the
graphic challanged people (like me).

===============================
FLEXIBILITY THEME FOR WORDPRESS
===============================

1. One is brand new:

Flexibility Theme for WordPress

http://www.flexibilitytheme.com/

These set of new themes finally enable you customize header, footer
background images from within your WordPress Admin Panel.

I’ve never hired designer for WordPress themes, I’ve only used free
version, but free ones do have limits.

With these themes, you’ll on your way out of that.

==============
SUMO PAINT
==============

2. Sumo Paint is the second one I think you’re going to like.

Take a look at this tool – this pretty much allows you to have
Photoshop experience online.

http://www.sumo.fi/products/sumopaint/index.php?id=0

With photoshop skills, you can do very cool stuff online.

–

A. You can touch and edit a photo – like that of my daughter

My daughter (8 months old) Isn’t she cute?
(courtesy of http://greenappleimages.com/blog/)

or

B. Create a BRAND NEW PRODUCT Around It.

1. Go to Elance at http://www.elance.com

2. Tell service providers how you’ll like someone to create a
tutorial ebook or video slides on how to use SUMO paint.

3. Hire a graphic designer for your new product.

4. Sell it online, advertising your brand new product that explains
how to use Sumo Paint.

– Now you have your own product to sell, if it’s a video product,
you can rightfully charge good price.

People are always on the look out for alternatives for expensive
softwares. If you position yourself as someone who can teach
alternative “secrets” to this market, you’ll have another business
model.

==========================
MY HONEST TRUTH COMES OUT
==========================

If you’re like me, you probably feel the same way. All these tools
are great and they certainly provide alternative solutions to EXISITING
challenges.

But if you haven’t used graphic tools in the past, chances are,
just because I am introducing you to a new set of tools today, even
if they’re provided free to you, you still wouldn’t use them.

Right?

You’ll probably read about it, don’t do anything and put it off.

I think that’s totally fine.

But if you leave it undone, things will never get completed.

So if you DON’T like creating graphics (even with the help of free
tools), then start networking with those who have good reputation.

This is when I go visit Warrior Forum

By visiting Warrior Forum, you can’t help but to notice players in
each area of product creation. Some people are known as graphic
gurus, others are video guy/girl etc.

Make daily or weekly visits with them, get to know them while
growing your Skype list.

When you have a project and you don’t feel like doing any of its work,
you can outsource to the trusted source, instead of going with
someone you met through Elance.

Elance is good, but that’s my last option.

– Marketing is not always about what you know, but who you know.

=================
SEE YOU NEXT WEEK
=================

Merry Christmas to everyone and have great holiday season this year!

Thank you for reading the newsletter this week!

ACTION TAKERS NEWSLETTER BROADCAST Dec 7, 2008

Hello it’s Tak Hikichi here. I appreciate you taking busy time
reading this newsletter this week.

========================
THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX
========================

I’ve noticed a lot of emails recently about Internet Marketing product
giveaway events. That is if you contribute as a product owner,
you can benefit by receiving multiple streams of traffic from all
contributors massively promoting to their lists.

It’s one reason you leverage once you start having some type of
product. But how hard is it to create one from scratch?

I am not going into “using PLR” talk because that’s been done in
every email I send out, so this time, I say something different.

I share this strategy from time to time and it’s worth repeating.

========================
REVERSING ELANCE SYSTEM
========================

I did this once and received so many bids at elance. As you probably
know, www.elance.com is the largest outsourcing portal online.

I posted a project like this and it WORKED.

My post:

Hi, I am looking to buy existing product of yours. If someone has
ebook, audio, video that I can own rights exclusively, please bid.

I am looking for products only in Internet Marketing field.

Thanks,

Takuya

Within a week, I received tens of offers from authors who created
something in their hard drive once, but didn’t know what to do with
them.

Some were very quality and some were only average.

But the upside was I was able to PREVIEW their work entirely before
buying them.

There was no “getting burned” experience by outsourcing the task
and end up creating something I didn’t want.

======================================
THIS IS WHY I CALL THIS “REVERSING” THE ELANCE SYSTEM
======================================

Instead of posting a product project and have someone create one
from scratch and get disappointed, this way, you only buy what you
like.

The work has already been done for you, now you choose what you want.

You can either publish it as your own work or sell private label
rights to the work and turn the profit.

- You just have to get creative and think outside the box sometimes -

And with that new product, you can rightfully join as a contributor
at these Joint Venture Giveaway events to build your list.

=======================
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
=======================

You might be wondering how much it would cost to buy label rights
from an author? Their bids range from anywhere from $250 – $500.

So it’s bit steep, but all the hard work has been done for you. Do
this quarterly (spend $1000 a year) and you’ll have 4 products that
can be generating streams of income or building lists on autopilot.

Not bad huh?

===============================
BUSINESS STRATEGY OVER PRODUCT CREATION
===============================

It’s easy to get caught up on creating a perfect product instead
of establishing a business strategy.

We all know Ray Kroc didn’t create a perfect hamburger for McDonalds,
but his business strategy made his name known.

Likewise, Harland Sanders, better known as “Colonel” Sanders sold
his “business in a box” instead of selling his secret recipe that
is still locked up in a safe at his home state of Kentucky, USA today.

=======================
WHAT’S YOUR BUSINESS STRATEGY?
=======================

What’s your business strategy? Do you have one? I tell you mine,
and you’re welcome to model after my strategy because it’s not
like I am the only one doing anything like this.

So here it is:

1. I first giveaway something easily recognized as valuable. Either
a product that can be charged, or bunch of PLR products as I do
on my main home page.

2. I upload 20 “follow up” emails, all arriving to my subscribers’
inbox every four days. These consist of messages hopefully unique
to the readers.

3. After I’ve “trained” people to open my email (this is why I only
use the same subject title for most of my emails), now people
will begin opening emails, based on my very NAME.

4. At least once a week, I send out broadcasts to my lists. These
consist of current industry updates, news, gossip, product launches,
recommendations etc.

5. I also give out more PLR products in my newsletter. I go buy these
and upload onto my server, provide links for downloads, no need for
opt-in again.

6. I upload the same email article on my blog at
http://www.AskTak.com/blog which generates more traffic from people
pouring in from search engines.

7. I might participate in JV giveaway events, buy ad space in friends
ezines to run a small ad, do ad swap, whatever to further build
bigger subscription.

8. Most importantly, I try building my newsletter look like a
newsletter, which builds trust and dialoge with my subscribers. This
way, I generate high converting emails (last week’s email generated
65.4% click throughs).

9. With high converting email campaign, I can leverage from it even
if my recommendations only net $5 in every sale.

=================
SEE YOU NEXT WEEK
=================

This week, my three year old made it to Pre-School. Every week is a
gift and I am thankful for simple things that make me happy.

Maybe this is why, I only drive domestic vehicles (yeah, I know I am
Japanese, but I don’t want GM to die), buy clothes at thrift stores
and have a wife who is more frugal than myself.

But it’s nice not to struggle looking for every penny when buying
Christmas gifts or give out donation.

Today in US marks the 67th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. I am not a US
citizen, but have volunteered as a tour guide at Pearl Harbor when I
lived in Hawaii.

My message focused on not how people died, but how they lived.

I am thankful today for many people who lived their lives before
me to be able to enjoy liberty.

How about you? What are you thankful for?

Hello it’s Tak Hikichi here. I appreciate you taking busy time
reading this newsletter this week.

==========
I LOVE PLR
==========

I was looking for a product to upload this week and ended up coming
across something different.

It’s not a free product, but very quality and cheap ($4.95) tutorial
video teaching how to convert PLR to add completely different look.

>> http://www.AskTak.com/recommends/plrtutorial/

With this instruction, you’ll be able to easily create a product of
your own, having different look, graphic, and content.

Why don’t you come up a product of your own, then give it away during
an giveaway? You can add hundreds of subscribers if you have quality
product.

=======================
MORE GIVEAWAY EVENT TIP
=======================

Last year when I first came across these Giveaway events, I was adding
upwards of 70 subscribers a day.

For some marketers, 70 additional subscribers could mean $70 more
residual income every month. If you haven’t participated in any
event before, you owe it to yourself to become a contributor.

–

It used to be that a Giveaway required you to have list before you
could join as a contributor — if you didn’t promote to your list,
you weren’t welcomed.

Not so in today’s trend.

What happens today is when you sign up as a contributor, you’re usually
upsold to become a preferred contributor. Once you pay whatever the
OTO amount (usually like $17), your contributed gift will remain as
a “featured gift”.

The $17 is split between the Giveaway host and the referrer who signed
you up. But even though you might have “zero” members to promote to
your list, because you’re now an “upgraded” member, your gift will
remain seen (if you’re free member and don’t promote, your gift will
be deleted – this prevents people coming in for a free ride).

==================================
USING ELANCE FOR QUICK TURN AROUND
==================================

Here is my version of the “quickest way” to succeed with JV giveaway.

1. Go to Elance and ask for someone to come up with original graphics
that you’re going to use as your legit product for a giveaway event.
($50)

2. Go to Digital Point Forum’s marketplace and find a graphic designer
who can come up with original eCover designed for your gift.
($15)

3. You set up your gift with auto responder, lead capture page, domain
and paid hosting.
($9 one time fee for domain and $7-$10 monthly fee for hosting)

4. You collect subscribers using paid auto responder.
($20 monthly)

Rinse and repeat above.

–

You see, doing these simple tasks and participating in several
giveaways between now and end of the year, you’ll add additional
500 subscribers to your list.

Depending on how you work your list, that can lead you to gain
additional $500 income for you.

===================================================
TIP OF THE WEEK: WHERE TO GET QUALITY RAW MATERIALS
===================================================

In the past, I have “confessed” that I use these two websites to
find good (and cheap) PLR materials.

link 1 >> www.master-resale-rights.com (great selection)

link 2 >> www.bestchoiceforebooks.com (less, but way cheaper)

What I do is, I first visit link 1 and browse what I want. Then I
visit link 2 to find the same material, but at a bargain price.

If I cannot find the same product at link 2, then I’ll go back to
link 1 to buy what I want.

1. I then go through a product to see if that’s something I want to
put my name to it.

2. If it’s a video product, I really won’t touch anything. If it’s
an ebook, I’ll rewrite and add my own thoughts.

3. I hire graphic designer to either just come up with eCover or
whole mini-site. They average anywhere from $10 to $50 for me.

4. I either giveaway to build a list or sell it online.

====================
IF YOU NEED HELP…
====================

Of course, I cannot be available for every request that says,
“Please show me how to do this”.

This is why I am recommending that you’ll get a set of video tutorial
from this link.

It’s a good set of instruction that can potentially create a new
business model for you.

So here it is again. Go get it. It’s only $4.95.

Today I’m going to resurrect PLR products sitting in your hard
drive.

In Internet Marketing market, keep in mind that there are two types
of people that separate the experienced and newbies.

Let’s say you’re discussing “List Building” in Warrior Forum.
You’re explaining that you use methods 1, 2, and 3 and the
experienced folks will simply “get it” while the newbies must need
to be educated on what it is you’re trying to explain.

When this happens, it distracts the experienced folks from focusing
on the most important elements of your discussion. You might be
discussing something very useful, yet the new Warriors keep on
asking you more questions and you lose control of the “flow”.

Of course such things happen. So there goes a saying “We’re not
preaching to the choir”, meaning, the choir members don’t need to
be taught how to sing – most members already know that and
therefore, let the new member learn in time.

However, the new members are just as important members of such
group and they cannot be forgotten.

So the real question is how do we overcome this, so that you can
include everyone? Or is it even impossible?

I have a solution for you.

I take PLR products (with their questions in mind) and create
reports for more specialized areas.

So let’s say if you’re writing an ebook on “Affiliate Marketing”
but you do NOT want to explain in detail about “How to register for
Clickbank”, simply you just create a separate report and link to
it. You can create one from scratch or just use PLR product for
this.

Here is an example, I was in Warrior Forum discussing the fastest
method to list building and one member kept on asking how to
register for “Giveaway” events and how to join them. Most members
browsing that topic know what they are and they don’t expect me to
explain it to them repeatedly. But some members DO need to know how
to go about joining these events.

Such flow changes the discussion from “List Building Methods” to
“Giveaway Events” thread.

What I do is, I write up a report on such topics:
http://www.asktak.com/reports/JVGiveaways.pdf

This allows me to continue on with the discussion without losing
its dynamics.

You can do the same thing for your product creation. You can write
an ebook and just link to these reports from within your PDF so
that your main report will not be 200 page long that nobody wants
to read it in such a length to get your point.

In fact, it’s better if you can build a case in a shorter report
and reference to other sources from within the PDF so that you’re
not writing the “One size fits all” report to cater to every
audience, but those who need help in specialized areas can
reference to other required resources.
